The 15th Beijing Special Equipment Informatization and Technology Expo recently opened in Beijing. As a leading Chinese developer of special-purpose robots, Shenzhen Mingming Robotics Co., Ltd. made a strong appearance with its advanced robotic systems.
At this year’s exhibition, Mingming Robotics not only showcased its field-proven flagship products but also made the global debut of the new ZC-780i tracked robot, presenting the company’s latest innovations in long-range detection and patrol operations to experts from the special equipment sector.
Designed for outdoor patrol missions and the long-range inspection of hazardous objects, the ZC-780i is a portable tracked all-terrain robot.
The robot comes standard with an elevating pan-tilt platform and a high-definition camera featuring 40× optical zoom. While moving, it maintains the low profile of a discreet tracked vehicle. Once it reaches the target location, the platform can be raised like a periscope, providing a maximum viewing height of 1.35 metres and enabling the robot to see farther from an elevated vantage point.
In hazardous environments, distance means safety. From more than 100 metres away, an operator can control the ZC-780i as it takes cover behind a low wall or similar obstacle, raises its pan-tilt platform and conducts detailed long-range observation. It can identify details such as a suspect’s facial features or the fuse wire of an explosive device. This gives frontline law enforcement personnel a safe vantage point for intelligence gathering, turning concealment into a decisive tactical advantage.
In rapidly changing counterterrorism operations and emergency rescue scenarios, intelligence can mean the difference between life and death. The portable ZC-780 tracked all-terrain robot has received a comprehensive top-module upgrade, featuring an integrated three-in-one detection module combining thermal imaging, 3D LiDAR and gas detection.
This combination gives the robot true full-spectrum perception capabilities. Its thermal imaging system can accurately locate targets in complete darkness or dense smoke, while its 3D LiDAR builds a real-time three-dimensional map of the environment. At the same time, the gas detection system provides early warnings of toxic and hazardous gases.
Acting like a mobile tactical radar, the ZC-780 delivers the most comprehensive and direct on-site data to the command centre.
The lightweight reconnaissance pioneer, ZC-380 Pro, was also showcased at the exhibition, attracting considerable attention with its compact, portable design and exceptional cross-floor reconnaissance capabilities.
The Mingming Robotics booth attracted numerous experts, who stopped by for in-depth discussions and showed strong interest in the new products. Every exchange reaffirmed the company’s brand mission: Built for Hard Missions, Protecting Safety Through Technology.
