Mingming Robotics Showcases the ZC-350 Portable Reconnaissance Robot at the 21st CISMEF

From 3 to 6 September, the 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) was held in Area D of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Shenzhen Mingming Robotics Co., Ltd. showcased its ZC-350 Portable Reconnaissance Robot, demonstrating its capabilities in hazardous-environment reconnaissance, on-site audio and video collection, complex-terrain mobility and modular mission expansion.


During the exhibition, the ZC-350 attracted considerable interest from industry professionals, business representatives and potential partners with its compact design, agile mobility and adaptability across diverse scenarios. The China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair is an international platform for SMEs to showcase their achievements, exchange ideas and explore cooperation opportunities. Under the theme “AI Empowering SMEs”, this year’s event featured exhibition areas for specialised and innovative SMEs, digital and intelligent transformation, embodied intelligence and industrial design, presenting the latest achievements of outstanding SMEs in technological innovation, product development and industrial upgrading.

A Compact, Portable Scout for Hazardous Environments


In narrow passages, underground spaces, building interiors and hazardous areas with unknown conditions, personnel entering directly may face uncertain surroundings, restricted visibility and unstable communications. The ZC-350 can be deployed ahead of personnel to collect and transmit real-time audio and video, providing valuable information for mission planning and operational decision-making.




Weighing approximately 5 kg, the ZC-350 can be carried by a single operator and deployed rapidly. When obstacles prevent conventional deployment, the robot can be thrown into the target area. It can withstand a three-metre drop onto a concrete surface and automatically right itself after overturning, allowing it to continue the reconnaissance mission.


The robot is also equipped with intelligent articulated flippers, enabling it to automatically negotiate steps approximately 17 cm high and operate across sand, gravel, pipelines and shallow-water environments. Its compact body and agile mobility allow it to enter areas that personnel or larger equipment cannot reach quickly, supporting on-site reconnaissance and information collection.


Modular Design for Diverse Mission Requirements


To meet the requirements of different application scenarios, the ZC-350 features a modular design and can carry environmental sensing modules, 3D LiDAR, a miniature robotic arm, a dual-sensor pan-tilt camera and a two-way communication module. These modules extend the robot’s capabilities to include environmental monitoring, spatial mapping, thermal imaging, remote communication and the handling of suspicious objects.




For communications, the ZC-350 supports the dedicated iMesh ad hoc network, enabling real-time audio and video transmission over distances of up to one kilometre in open environments. Multiple relay nodes can also be deployed to extend the communication range. In buildings, underground spaces and other complex environments, communication nodes can be positioned according to mission requirements to improve transmission stability.


Evolving from a standalone frontline reconnaissance device into a configurable robotic platform with interchangeable mission modules, the ZC-350 can be rapidly adapted to different customers, environments and missions, providing a more flexible equipment option for special operations.

At the exhibition, visitors showed particular interest in the ZC-350’s portable deployment, automatic self-righting, step-climbing, mesh communication and modular payload capabilities. Some visitors also discussed how the robot could be applied to hazardous-environment reconnaissance, underground-space inspection, 3D spatial mapping and remote information collection based on their own operational requirements.
